1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the services provided by Kingston Counseling ("we," "us," or "our"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Services Description

Kingston Counseling provides mental health counseling services including individual therapy, EMDR intensives, and premarital counseling. All services are provided by licensed mental health professionals in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time without notice.

3. Client Responsibilities

Attend scheduled appointments on time or provide 24-hour notice for cancellations

Provide accurate and complete information about your mental health history and current condition

Participate actively and honestly in therapy sessions

Pay all fees as agreed upon at the time of service

Notify us immediately of any changes in your contact information or insurance coverage

4. Payment and Fees

Payment Due: Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

Insurance: If you are using insurance, you are responsible for any copayments, deductibles, or services not covered by your plan.

Late Payment: Accounts that are 30 days past due may be subject to late fees and collection procedures.

Cancellation Policy: Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may be charged the full session fee.

5. Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client information in accordance with applicable laws and professional ethics. Information shared in therapy will not be disclosed to third parties without your written consent, except in the following circumstances:

Risk of harm to yourself or others

Suspected child or elder abuse

Court-ordered disclosure

Insurance billing requirements

6. Limitation of Liability

While we strive to provide the highest quality mental health services, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes or results from therapy. Clients participate in therapy at their own risk and acknowledge that mental health treatment involves inherent uncertainties.

Our liability for any claims arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.

7. Emergency Situations

Our services are not intended for emergency situations. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please:

8. Modifications to Terms
